The Ayrshire Hospice is governed by the hospice Board of Trustees, membership of which is drawn from the Ayrshire community. Members are elected, non-executive Directors and Trustees of the hospice and have equal responsibility in law for the actions and decisions of the Board.

Tom was made Chair of the Hospice Board in September 2022 having served on the board since 2016. Read more
Hazel joined the Ayrshire Board of Trustees in 2023. As Depute Chair of the Board of Trustees, she sits on the Clinical Governance Committee. Read more
Gerry joined the Board in May 2023 and is the current Treasurer. Gerry chairs the Financial Governance Committee and is a member of the Capital Project Governance Committee. Read more
John served as Co-optee to the Board for a number of years prior to becoming a full Trustee in October 2020. He is Chair of the Clinical Governance Committee and in March 2023 became a Vice Chair of the Hospice Board. He is a member of the Organisational Governance Committee, Appointments and Development Committee and Capital Project Governance Committee. Read more
David Brooks joined the Board in 2014 and Chairs the Organisational Governance Committee. In September 2022 he was appointed as one of two Vice Chairs of the Hospice Board. David is also a member of the Capital Project Governance Committee. Read more
