This year, I am taking part in the Glasgow Kiltwalk, Edinburgh 5k and Edinburgh 10k, to raise money for Ayrshire Hospice in memory of my amazing Aunt Liz. The care and compassion the Hospice provided to my family and I during such a difficult time, was second to none.
We are fundraising to give back to the Ayrshire Hospice after the care and support they gave to my dad during his time in the hospice.

Myself, some family and friends are going to be taking part in a sponsored 3 peak hill climb over the weekend of 16th of August. We are going to be climbing the 3 highest peaks in the UK which are Ben Nevis, Ben Macdui and Breariach. Over the 3 days we will be covering over 35 miles in total.
At the Dirran’s Centre we support a Health Walk every Friday, each week we complete a 5K, during these walks we improve our fitness while laughing, crying and peer supporting each other. The walks promote wellbeing and the importance of exercise as well as socialising. Our Friday Walking group has completed a couple of sponsored walks throughout the years as this charity is close to many of their hearts. But For this years sponsored walk we will be completing a 3K 5k 10k
The Hospice provides such an important and much needed service to the Ayrshire community. It touches the lives of so many families in a memorable and positive way. The Capital Build Project is a massive undertaking which deserves any support we can provide.
We are a group of 6 friends who have been doing long distance walks for 12 yrs and we like to be able to collect donations for charity along the way .This year we have chosen the Ayrshire Hospice as they have looked after some of our friends and families over the years .

The dignity and respect that was shown to my father when he was in his final stage of life made such a difference to him and also our whole family. The Ayrshire Hospice is an amazing charity that deserves every penny if the donations that it receives.
River Ayr Walk 'The Return Leg' we are delighted to be organising the 44 mile long trek for the second year.
