How does your £1 per week make a difference?

The Ayrshire Hospice Lottery provides a regular source of income to run all of our hospice services which help to deliver exceptional care for Ayrshire's patients and families.  It costs around £22,000 per day to run the hospice and your £1 per week can really make a difference.  For example, £35 could help to fund a bereavement session or £150 could help to fund a walking frame to aid our patients.  A chance to win...a way to care.

The Ayrshire Hospice is licensed and regulated in Great Britain by the Gambling Commission under account number 4837  www.gamblingcommission.gov.uk.

In 2022, £731,155.00 was raised from ticket sales in our weekly lottery and our seasonal Super Draw, with 13.81% being spent on prizes, 21.64% spent on expenses and 64.55% used to provide care for people with life limiting illness across Ayrshire - this translated to a fantastic £471,941.11! (based on the lottery submissions made by Ayrshire Hospice to the Gambling Commission, during the 2022 calendar year).

In 2022, the likelihood of winning a prize was, on average, 1 in 182 in our regular Weekly Lotteries and 1 in 528 in our seasonal Super Draw.

The weekly lottery and seasonal Super Draws are promoted by Ayrshire Hospice, 29 Miller Road, Ayr KA7 2AX. Responsible Person: Ronald Swanson, Fundraising Manager. Registered Charity No. SC011390
